What Is Scratch
Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab and it is free to use. It is a block-based programming language specifically designed for ages 8 to 16 but people of any age can use it. Millions of people around the world creating Scratch projects in a wide variety of settings, including homes, schools, museums, libraries, and community centres. It is relevant to future coding techniques and is extremely reliable to use. You are able to share your programs with people all around the world, and you are able to view other people’s programs to gain ideas from them. You can share and like other games as well as remixing them. You can also make a studio/group. To use Scratch, you have to have an account. Why Would A Person Recover A Profile
There are many reasons why someone would really want to recover a profile. Below I have mentioned the most unique reasons on why someone would want to recover a profile. - Anyone may want to recover a profile if they figure out that someone else has figured out their password. There are many ways someone could figure out another person’s password. This is an extremely serious thing as the person could write a very mean comment to someone else. They could hurt someone else’s feelings. Think of it as someone called X has a Scratch account. Then, someone called Y somehow figures out X’s password. Y is being really bad, and he feels like commenting bad things to Z. Still, X is continuously blamed by the Scratch council for doing this. If this kind of thing continues, the Scratch council will eventually delete the account of the other person.
- Someone may want to recover a profile if they forget their password. This is not that much of a serious issue, as it won’t cause much harm to you, and it will not cause any harm to Scratch. No-one would have feelings which are hurt, except for the one who has lost his password. It is okay as you can still recover it. The easiest way is mentioned below. - Someone may have a really simple password because they are young. If their parents gave a hard password to their child, then the child might forget. When the child grows up, he realises that his password is too easy. They may think someone would realise their password, so they will need to change it. There are 2 ways to recover a profile. The first way includes using your email address which you signed up with. It has to be the email address u signed up with. The second way is to use your username.

How To Recover A Profile In Scratch
First, you open up the Scratch website.
Then, you click the sign in button. Sign in is in the top right corner of the web browser.
Next, there will be a hyperlink which has quoted ” need help? ” This is the exact link you will have to click on to recover your profile in Scratch. It will give you 2 options. Either you will recover the profile with your email address or your username. After you do fill in the required information, you will receive an email to recover your password.
