My Book Review
All of us have our own memory or moment which is extraterrestrial and unbelievable, but I am sure, barely any of you have found a secret wardrobe which leads you to a confidential place where nothing is normal. Not the time, the life, the weather, and the civilisation. NOTHING in this book is “normal”. The book, “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” is the first chapter book of a major best selling series. This book was written by C.S Lewis and it was published by Geoffrey Bles. The novel is about a dumbfounding adventure the 4 protagonists (Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter) had, to stop an acquisitive queen with the help of other mythical and abnormal animals. If you don’t like reading, you can also watch the movie or the other movies in the series in websites like Netflix and Eagle TV.
During the novel, I was able to put myself into the shoes of multiple characters, and I was feeling different feelings and opinions for each character. Emotions like greediness, happiness, sadness and madness were felt in multiple occasions throughout the story. Each character had their own sense of identity, which means that they had their own hobbies, personality, behaviour, knowledge, ability, opinions and attitude. This made the story more tense, as they wouldn’t always agree and believe in each other, but soon after they met their idol, the lion, they started to trust and get along with each other.
Many morals and lessons were learnt, as there was a lot of positiveness in the novel. Most main characters had growth mindsets, as all of them led the supernatural land of Narnia to a new era of peace and tranquility. The main characters represented many morals like, “Never Give Up” and “Without trust, you don’t have anything. All the main good characters in the novel, had a growth mindset as they were always pushing the protagonists to work harder and harder.
Overall, this book is a brilliant novel composed with many different writing techniques, like figurative language and sound imagery. It is a well structured book, and it is really intense, as there are multiple plots and ideas which join together to make one plot. Putting these types of morals into a story is really helpful to many people around the world. It also includes lots of challenging words which will help improve your knowledge and idea of vocabulary. It is a fun fantasy novel to read as it is really funny and enjoyable. The tension in this book is at a really high level, as the plot just keeps on getting more intense and intense. It also really inspiring and touching to other people around the world.
Out of 5 stars, I rate this book 4 stars, as it could be a bit more informative and it could include more figurative language to make it sound a bit more real.
