Benefits Of Following Someone In Scratch….
What Is Scratch
In today’s world, it is very important to have the ability to code computer programs. There are many programming languages available e.g. Java, C++, Python etc. but these are very high-level programming languages and might be difficult to learn at an early age but there are few languages e.g. Scratch which is specially designed for younger students. When people learn to code in Scratch, they learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas. In this post, I am going to explain cautions we should be aware of. I will also detail all the cautions. If you don’t have an account in Scratch then go to my other post about How To Add An Account In Scratch.
What Happens When You Follow
Whenever you are going to follow someone, and you follow them, the other person gets a follower. The Scratcher receives a notification that someone is following them. In that Scratcher’s profile, everyone can see that you are following that person. In your profile, everyone can see that you followed that person. Whenever that person does something, you get a notification about what they did. You get this notification in the home page, where it says Whats Happening.
Benefit 1: You Feel Good, And Someone Else Feels Good
You feel good when you follow someone, and the other person who you followed feels really good as well. Don’t you feel over the moon when you realise that someone is now following you? Well, this may be because you want to brag, or it might be because your Scratch rank went higher up. There are many reasons you will feel good when someone follows you. Well, won’t you feel good making someone else feel good? When someone follows you, you feel like you are important, and you feel like you actually do matter. If someone follows you, you may think you are the only one who is happy, but you actually should light-heartedly congratulate the person who followed you for being a really good citizen.
Benefit 2: F4F or Follow For Follow
When you try to be the best sincere citizen you can ever be, and you follow someone, they can actually follow you back. This is called F4F, and it is also called follow for follow. You follow someone, and they follow you back. This has many benefits. You get more followers. If you get more followers, you get more popular, and you get a way to get a better ranking in Scratch. If you want to check out your stats in Scratch, go to Scratchstats Both of you will gain a really good reputation, and both of you get to be more happy, then you were before. You could get more followers.
Benefit 3: Interaction
In Scratch, when you follow someone, they will really appreciate you for following them. Now, they might want to chat with you a lot, because they possibly might want to make online friends. The might want to interact with someone online if they are lonely at home. They might even interact with someone online if they want others to feel good. As you may have realised, there are many reasons why a Scratcher will want to interact with another Scratcher. If you feel lonely at home, this is one of the best things you could do to not feel lonely. During this time of the coronavirus pandemic, it is essential and important for us to make other people feel good, so we as a community should be formally chatting with people, if it makes them feel better. We can interact with online Scratcher, but please take note you are not sharing information which is too personal.
Benefit 4: Unselfish
People might look at your profile, and they might realise you are following some unpopular Scratchers. They might think that you are doing this to make other people feel better, and as we all know, it is good to make people feel good during this pandemic. We must not be selfish, and we must help other people by making them feel good. Even if this means by following the worst Scratcher in Scratch. It still has the same reason.
